When should I replace my water pipes?
If you have old galvanised pipes with rust, repeated leaks, cloudy water or very low pressure, spot repairs rarely last. Re-piping with PPR or multilayer pipe solves the root cause, ideally during a bathroom or kitchen renovation.
Why is the pressure low at only one tap?
Usually a clogged aerator, a half-closed angle valve or limescale in the flexible hose. If pressure is low everywhere, the main valve, pressure reducer or the network itself needs checking.
